She definitely looks like she has a full head of snake! They look as if they're still writhing around, even after her death - very spooky! Her sad expression makes you feel a bit sad for poor Medusa. Her torn neck is great too! Very clean, no gore. Great work!!!! You are Fabulous!! Dean C. Russell replies: "YAY!!! i was hoping you would like it! i worked my butt off on it and i like it! ya ive ALWAYS felt bad for Medusa and so i thought i could protray the enotion of sadness cuz i think that is wat she felt he whole life. but yes i wanted to make the neck creepy but not like BLOOD-GUSHING or anything...i am very happy with it and im sooooooo glad that u like it! thanx so much love! u r FABULOUS!!!"

First I admired the detail of the snakes, then looked at the expression, then had to scroll down and get the shock of my life! Dean C. Russell replies: "lmao...quite climactic was it? im glad it was an adventure. Yes i did want to pay close attention to detail on this one because Medusa is one of my more peronalized characters. I do like the way it turned out. I thank you much for the comment...u r fabulous!!"

| 22 Dec 2005 | Jessica 'Blue Thanatopsis' Stachyra | Loading...This is really great, the details of the scales is really amazing! It would have looke dbetter, I think, if you had finished off the snake heads with scale detail as well, though. But all that work payed off, it's really a fantastic piece! Dean C. Russell replies: "lol...thank you...i honestly didnt know what to do for the snake heads so i thought i would make up my own head-scaless snakes...i mean medusa was myth so she might as well have mythical snakes!!" | |
