Aurelius and Dionne! A scene that would sometime happen in my story, Ylseria... Dionne has gone off to war to help Mia and co battle. She had asked Aurelius to convince his people to come down from the mountain and help fight~ because they are fighting for freedom, and if they lose, the Beautiful Devils won't be safe up in their mountain for long. Aurelius, being rather stubborn, serious, and protective of his people, says he can't, and tries to get Dionne to stay with him, but she refuses, and say's she must fight with her friends for her world. Soooo... this would be during the battle, and Dionne has fallen and some dark evil dude looms over her with a big giant pointy sword...and swooosh! Aurelius comes to save the day...this is what I imagine them saying as he's holding her in this piece:

Dionne: Aurelius? You...you came.

Aurelius: I couldn't let you fight alone, Dionne. ::distraught:: If I had arrived any later-

Dionne: ::softly:: I'm glad you came, Aurelius. I'm so glad you came..

No comments? Stink! (NOT your picture by the way) This piece is amazing! I've had a look around your gallery, and all your stuff is great. This one really caught my eye, though. There is so much emotion, and you've done an excellent job bringing out the story. The little blurb at the top is enough, but even without it, the image tells the story. The coloring is great and their expressions are fantastic! Ever consider putting the story up on Elfwood?

:-) Samantha J. Nowak replies: "I've never thought about putting in on Elfwood... but I very well could. Though a lot of it is in my head (scenes and such like this one), and hasn't made it to paper. ^^ It would be a good way to get me working on the story though. 18"

oh this is so touching. really evocative, but still your lovely simplistic style. i love the body language, ho they are both kneeling just makes it so much more intimate and vulnerable.
