Not that I don't like Disney, in fact I ADORE it, but I haven't done fan art of Disney characters in a very long time. ^^* This is Belle, in her green dress, which we only see her in for a brief moment in the movie. ^^ Belle from the movie Beauty and the Beast belong to Disney

Whee, look how pretty! I've recently gone through a Beauty and the Beast phase and picked up a couple of books that are retellings of the original fairy tale: Rose Daughter by Robin McKinley, Beauty and the Beast: A Retelling by the same author and then Mercedes Lackey has her own science fiction twist to the story. Check out her series! I think you would enjoy them. =]

Belle with no doubt is the prettiest Disney "Princess" (Okay, she got her PRINCE in the end, but.. like.. why is she more considered a princess than all of those in your "Disney 'Princess' Revolt" picture? I always was kind of confused by that). She is definitely in my top-3 of those lovely young ladies.. but then again, ALL OF THEM got a very special places in my heart.

Wow... 22 GREAT picture... This requires a moment of standing in admiration 12 *does so* I wish I was that good with markers... I have prismacolors but I can never get them to blend 11 Do you have any tips to spare? *begs*

Well, I layer my Prismacolor markers like none other. Like in Belle’s hair I used 3 or 4 different colors, layered over each other. Prismacolor also has a "blender" marker, which is basically a marker without any color to it. It may be one you have to order online on like ****Blick.com, I’m not sure if all craft/art stores always carry it. but that helps to blend the colors as well. And as always~ practice! Practice! Practice!"
