This is my precious.
The title may or may not end up relavent.

It is massive.

Reeeeaaaally massive.

Open, it is currently 6.38GB and counting. The computer I am using has less than half that of RAM, and runs Windows, so no single application can get less than half of that... (I was going to put a better OS on it, but then I realised the machine itself was too crappy to be really worth it. Stupid laptops. Unfortunately, it still has the best monitor. o_O)

Anyway, I've started to color it, but before I continue and the required swap memory doubles again (maybe I should switch OSs; Windows doesn't handle swap very well), I was kind of hoping some lovely folks might tell me what they think.
Anything.
Anything at all.
Suggestions, observations, miscelaneous random crap...

25 Feb 2009	John R Farley Jr	Loading... The problem with switching operating systems is, one is bigger than the other. If your computer had trouble with Win-XP for example then Windows Vista will bring it to its knees. The problem is the footprint or size of the program. Last I checked, Vista is a memory hog with a one-gigabyte footprint on your hard disk. Anyway, this a beautifully done drawing. The details alone are worth not coloring it. Kim Schoonover (Darth Maul´s scary sister) replies: "Ah, but I’ve already got Vista. So really the only way to go from here, size-wise, is down... O_o I was thinking a nice Ubuntu with fluxbox and lots of xterms, actually. So it’ll look just like the FreeBSD machine but be less of a pain in the arse. As in, actually maintained. Yup, sounds about right. It’s definitely strange, though, being able to play Guild Wars with pretty much no decrease in functionality while waiting for the thing to do whatever I told it to do with the image becuase of how they set up th OS. Interesting... but stupid. Agh... don’t tempt me. shakes fist"
26 Feb 2009	Dave Cripps	Loading... I thought perhaps you’d be going along with the lines theme that you’ve got going on here. All swirly precisely drawn lines as a background. No colour at all kind of like ... oh.. brain gone! She drew some really close lines in a swirly patten that make your eyes explode. UGH Can’t remember . Oh forget it! Just finish it and post it in its 10 GB glory, crashing the Elfwood. Kim Schoonover (Darth Maul´s scary sister) replies: "Problem is, I don’t know what to do for a background anymore. Just that there needs to be a yucca. Any suggestions? blinks Made your brain explode, did it? Well... I was going to scale it for Elfy, like I did with this copy... >.> But then again, that would be amusing..."

Kim Schoonover (Darth Maul´s scary sister) replies: "What, the mess? That sort of thing happens all the time around here. Luckily, I’ve got a team of robots that clean everything up, so it works out. I mean... Bridget Riley, eh? I’ll ckeck her stuff out."
7 Mar 2009	Márcia Esperança	Loading... Ohh, so this is the drawing from the other pic? nice. I really like your lines and the armour. And size is quite nasty... uggghhhh. On my compy this would run nice thoug; i have like i told you 6gb of RAM avaible, and an NVIDIA GeForce 9300M GS, wich one is really nice... and a 2Ghz processor. You really have to manage in colour it in; but like you said your compy doesn’t likes this very much... Kim Schoonover (Darth Maul´s scary sister) replies: "Mhm... though can that really be called ’armor’, considering how... revealing it is? >.< I suppose that’s sort of the point, though. Ah, but it’s already larger than you’ve got RAM as well . sticks out tongue That’s pretty nice, though... I was very shocked to learn that rogue (my old computer) has a single core 2GHz processor. One would never guess it from the sluggishness. Meh, I’ll build myself a fancy new desktop and finish the image on that. Rawr."
