sometimes all it takes is a simple tickling of an unsespecting surface-dweller's toes.

At least, thats how I interperetted it.

I love how realistic the legs look and the transparency of the fins is great. I need to know how I colored those legs. And how I used to color skin in general. Because I have since forgotten entirely, and have been failing miserably at coloring things. *blank stare*

Did you use a photo for the background...because the water effect along the top is wonderful. I believe I used an image generated in terragen, but I'm not sure. I can't remember. (Yes, I'm an idiot. I know.)

I also like the overall darkness of the pic...I definitely feel like he is going to eat the swimmer! Muhwahaha! O_O

I'll add your pic to the list of links in my gallery and to the Elfwood tour, when I get it up and running. *places rabid, homicidal monkey on Wendy's head* Have fun with that. No, really. Do.

The scales have a nice nubby texture the purple looks very satin-y just like slimey fish scales. I wonder though...how does he floss?

:-) Kim Schoonover (Darth Maulīs scary sister) replies: "Floss? Um... good question. Maybe he just eats a lot of fibrous rocks or something... he'd certainly have to do something to clean those teeth of his, otherwise why are they so white, eh?"

*laughs uncontrolably* Look! It's my sister in the morning when she goes swimming!...no I mean the PURPLE one. DUH. lol. I love the whole Jaws idea from this picture...Not that've really ever seen Jaws...cause I lived on a tropical island most my life..and I'm completely and utterly paranoid of everything...I totally don't go swimming with my sister anymore. *twitch* *rocks back and forth*
