According to the legend, Lancelot would have been brought up by the Lady of the Lake. He became then one of the most powerful Knights of the Round Table and the lover of queen Guinevere.

Lancelot & Merlin never exsisted in the original Arthurian legend, they were added by Geoffrey of Monmieth in the 12th Century, to spice up the story.
