| 29 Dec 2000 | Christiaan, A.Iken | Loading...I have a phobia about snails and slugs. well not a phobia, but I hate squising on snails... saddens me if I do it by accident and slugs, yuck.... this picture still makes me feel slightly sick at the sight of a slug..Dell's reply:Geesh!!, I guess you should not have clicked on this guy after reading the title. | |
| 3 Jan 2001 | Rachel Jennings | Loading...I love your use of lines in the backround. The way you haven't done any blending there, or shading, and yet the lines make all the contrast needed to tell one object or plane from another. The snail and his rider are quite cute too. ^.^ | |
| 23 Feb 2001 | Georgette Tan | Loading...OMG! How cute!! The title caught me eye because the chanops of #Lothlorien are called Snail Riders of the Apocalyspe. *g* | |
| 31 Aug 2002 | Mike | Loading...Very cute. I guess this guy's not in a hurry if he's using a snail as transportation! | |

| 12 Jan 2003 | Alisa Amaris | Loading...Hee, he's just like the Tiny from The Neverending Story! Its a racing snail!!! Hehehe. | |
| 8 Mar 2003 | Pixa Green | Loading...This one looks great! Great peek into someone elses world. And all the neat and precise drwing of the lines leads to more attention being brought to the atmosphere(without using color too.) great job! | |
| 15 Apr 2003 | Anonymous | Loading...It's sort of bizarre seeing this picture. Sort of like deja vu. I had a dream about little people riding on snails once, maybe a few years ago. They were meeting to discuss the redevelopment of a city or something. Maybe the merging of two cities. I've always wanted to put the dream to paper. But it looks like you beat me to it. Except i think the snail riders in my dream dressed a little more diplomatically. Lyndell Stout replies: "Dell reply: Believe it or not, your comment is not that far fetched. A few years back when I initially drew this image, a viewer expressed a similar scenario as well. In fact, that helped with the concept for the second Snail Rider." | |
