Gregory stood outside, longing to throw back the cloak and Change. The cloak was only a cover for his nudity; it couldn’t hold back what he was.
She could.
Tonight under the moon, not yet full, he would claim her as his lover, only his, in both flesh and fur. She waited, huddled with a few friends under the oak trees, now bare as winter was threatening to come. He watched her shiver, but not from the cold. Werewolves didn’t suffer from the mere cold, though she claimed to on more then one occasion. She feared him. He was just beginning to learn how to control her, how to dominate that wild spirit and she feared him, hated him for it.
He motioned them over as the moon rose high above them. The pack gathered all around him. They waited for him to speak.
"My friends, my family, …Allyson, tonight I will take and claim what is rightfully mine. The leadership of this pack is rightfully mine. Your allegiance and loyalty is rightfully owed and mine. Allyson has fought my dominance long enough but she too was promised to me and is MINE. By the goddess Moon, I will claim everything and be a strong, proud leader to you all, like my father was."
He took a step towards Allyson and she deliberately took an equal step back, keeping the distance between them. She has her own secrets and fear. She had never made the Change, she denied the passion of the wolf too long, abandoned it for human reason and human fears. She didn’t know how to love. He moved too fast for her to see and she was soon entrapped in his arms, his breath hot on the back of her neck. She growled softly but did not resist. She could not. In human form, denied by all that was wolf, she was helpless. He laid his head at the bridge of her neck and sighed a sigh of what seemed mere patient impatience.
She struggled slightly but it only made him tighten his hold.
"Struggle, but you can’t break free. Not as a human.", his voice a purr, coaxing her into what she already knew she had to do. She looked around into the eyes of each member of the pack, hoping one would meet her gaze and help her, save her.
She sighed a sigh of defeat and relaxed herself into his arms, into the mold of his body. When he relaxed his own body, she called to the wolf, she forced the Change upon her. A howl escaped her body and she collapsed down on all fours. Each muscle and bone in her body shifted and groaned in pain. He had released her and meet her as human to the wolf.
