  | This is the very first picture that I've ever drawn that I can actually look at without going crazy over the mistakes I made. I know this sketch prolly doesn't belong on elfwood but I'm so proud of it that I wanted to show it off and get any advice I can. I've only just begun drawing at all and I will honestly say that this is the best picture I've ever drawn. The only mistake I can see is where the grip flares out near the top, I screwed something up. I don't know what, but there is something wrong about it. If you can put your finger on it tell me what it is. The only other thing is the clip off to the side there is disproportionate so I scribbled on it when I got frustrated. Most drawings I do appear to be drawn from multiple viewpoints. The way that this ties into sci-fi art is this, I have a fantasy character who is a bounty hunter in the Star Wars universe, he also appears often in other sci-fi type stories I do. He is known as Demon Slayer, real name unknown. He uses all kinds of weapons, one of which is a pistol that is very similar to this one. |
