| 27 Jul 2002 | Rodewald | Loading...Another wonderful picture in your gallery. This one looks so realistic... Seems as if you put much thought in how to create this picture Cathey Osborne replies: "thank you! I actually had a dream about the Goddess and this image came to me. it's not exactly as the dream had it, but it is close enough." | |
| 1 Oct 2002 | Epona | Loading...Just one little thingie....It's not really sure that 'the White Horse of Uffington' (the tattoo on her leg) was made for Epona. There's also a theory that claims that a person called Hengist Kent (Hengist means horse) gave order to carve this horse as his own legacy.....I personally think it's for Epona too but I just wanted to point it out.. Cathey Osborne replies: "I had heard the tale of Hengst, but in my dream, the Uffington horse was very prevalent, so I added it. I like the visual line across her thigh. Thanks for the note! " | |
| 1 Oct 2002 | Epona | Loading...It is really AMAZING!!!! This is the most beautiful picture i've seen about Epona. I'm a wiccan, and Epona is my wiccan name. I've always been crazy about horses, and since I was a child the name Epona crossed my path frequently. Again, it's a wonderful piece of art! Cathey Osborne replies: "Is this the Epona from the Emerald Hills? If so, this is Denah. If not, sorry! Thank you for the comment. Epona's path and mine have been crosing all my life..." | |
| 19 Jun 2003 | Kathryn | Loading...I love this! Would you consider selling the line art to a rubberstamp company? I know of several that would buy this in a heartbeat. Usually when a person sells a piece like this they retain all other rights to it except to sell it to any oter rubberstamp company. You could still do it as a painting to sell to a card company. Cathey Osborne replies: "I am actually already working with Third Coast Rubber Stamps (www.tcrs.com), though if you know of others who might be interested, please let me know. I would be most happy to have the stamp rights out there and in production! " | |
| 13 Sep 2003 | Me | Loading...wow you are just really amazing gotta give you your props but wow! you are really creative! A++++++++++++++++++ its beautiful(and it seems to me that you are really into horses so am i i love them they are just so beautiful, exept there yellow teeth lol) Cathey Osborne replies: "Yellow teeth are only for those who do not brush! Yes, show horses get their teeth brushed just liek we do! " | |
| 12 Nov 2003 | Stytch | Loading...Absolutely stunning. I think we're having the same dreams, this work says it all. Cathey Osborne replies: "When I have the time to finish the others, say that again! " | |
| 19 Jan 2004 | C l a r e | Loading...I love this picture! From afar, it Epona looks although she's part of the horse's forelock... that's clever! Epona is the goddess I worship, so would it be alright if I printed this out and used it on my altar? It's such a wonderful picture! Cathey Osborne replies: "I would be honored to have my work on your altar. If you get adventurous and wouldlike a more personalized peice, contact me at smilodonart@gmail.com for info on a custom color peice." | |
| 1 Nov 2005 | Disturbing unknown girl | Loading...its lovely , i coudnt ever draw that well , but that horse is creepy Cathey Osborne replies: "Epona is not an all-sweetness-and-light goddess. She had her dark side as well, so the creepiness kind of goes with her. Thanks for noticing!" | |
