This was an elven mage of one of my friends. I was going to start adding more detail but he said he liked it at this stage of drawing.

-drools- Man i think I fell in love with your drawing!...well the men at least...lol

Very nicely done. Umm.. The necklace with the face on it. Is it attached to the collar? Or is it on the neck. It just kinda looks like it was placed there and doesn't actually go there. Maybe some shadowing or summat. Anyway.. Love the nails. Totally spiffy job. Can't wait to look at the rest!

:-) Lloyd Dennis Zacarias replies: "Thanks, the choker was where I had stopped shading per the request of the person I was drawing this for. I'm glad you liked this one."
17 Dec 200545 I made you think of a grey elephant just now.
For his hands, they look a little too feminene for a dude elf.. nice work though, overall.

Again with the details... I should have access to your brain at times, Lloyd 2 Even though you wanted to ad more, the amount of details you have put into this outweigh the need to continue really. I don't think the hands look to feminine for a male elf *points up to previous commenter*, but rather the delicate jewelry and long fingernails would give the feminine impression. Nice clean work here, Lloyd and an absolute joy to look at.

13 Lloyd Dennis Zacarias replies: "Wow! Thank you Mark, I don't know how to respond to such a kiler critique of my stuff. You have raised my confidence level by at least 15 times. Also you have a very keen eye when it comes to noticing details as you hit the proverbial nail right on its head as I was trying to give him a delicate feminen impression. Thanks again Mark."

I would have liked to have seen this piece finished completely...It just leaves you wanting to know how it would have truly turned out. The choker is outstanding though I do understand about the shading. The fingernails are a great touch for an elven mage. I would have liked to seen more texture in his hair. It is extremely difficult to give feedback because you were not finished with this piece.

:-) Lloyd Dennis Zacarias replies: "Thank you for commenting. I would of liked to have finished it also but alas this was done for someone and as the motto goes, "the customer's always right". Maybe I will make a finished version one day but unfortunately it won't be anytime soon due to all of my other drawings I still have to complete."

I agree with your friend Lloyd. The use of the whites in this drawing really sets off the mage touch! Sweet drawing! I also think the well defined lines of his hand are a superb feature

:-) Lloyd Dennis Zacarias replies: "Thanks Jason, i'm happy you like how it is as this one has always bugged me because I never finished it (per request) and maybe one day i'll do a finished version."

Nice details!!! You really have skill! This perpective drawing with his hand is well done!

:-) Lloyd Dennis Zacarias replies: "Thank you, this is an old drawing and though it does lack some of the details my other drawings have I still like this one."
