He looks like an elf you wouldn't want to mess with, that's for sure! Lloyd Dennis Zacarias replies: "Thanks Sydney. I wasn't sure anyone would like this pic when I first posted it but I see from comments like yours that my fears were happily groundless." | |
| 15 Apr 2005 | Sofia Esperança | Loading...Ok, I've admired, so far, about a dozen of your drawings and I've read many of your "comments from the artist". I've kept silent so far because I do sincerely admire a humble person, but now that's enough! This is simply great, he does look like what you say he should look like and then, there's all that detail! So, maybe you still have a bit of a problem with shading but no one's perfect and, to me, your drawings are getting pretty close to perfection. It's just a matter of time 'till they get there. Lloyd Dennis Zacarias replies: "I want to thank you for the confidence booster Sofia, I have been realy trying to work on my shading lately and I think i've gotten a little better. Waht i'm realy trying for though is perfect realism, or close to it as possible with graphite. After reading your comment i'm not realy sure how to reply. I feel scolded but incredibly happy that you scolded me. I just want to say thanks." | |
| 11 May 2005 | Stephanie S. K. Marbach | Loading...Wow... I'd be scared to meet him on the road*g* ! Lloyd Dennis Zacarias replies: "Thanks for dropping by Stephanie. He's actualy a decent enough guy once you get to know him." | |
| 1 Jun 2005 | LadyAnime79 | Loading...Amazing drawing, Dennis. You did a great job. I don't think I would ever mess with him. Not in the way that would get me killed, anyway. *laughs* He is pretty handsome,Dennis. But, then again, I'm partial to men (or elves, or demons) with dark hair. Where do you come up with the ideas for their outfits? You have a style that's so unique. I liken your unique abilities to J.R.R. Tolkien's. He had his own amazing style and look where it got him! Keep up the amazing work. I am such a fan. Lloyd Dennis Zacarias replies: "Thank you yet again! The idea for the stiff hair came when I thought about what dirty hair would look like. As for the outfit? Originaly I was just going to put him in a studded leather outfit but then got the idea to throw in some Native American qualities for the ranger he's suppose to be. Also I kinda put a dash of asian flair in there also as an afterthought." | |
| 21 Aug 2005 | Melanie 'Coffee Goddess' Wood | Loading...Oh yes, your stuff looks as though you need more years of practice. Have you seen mine lately? Lloyd, really man, give yourself some credit. You don't need practice dear, you've got it down, don't worry. (I'll have an update soon, by the way, so you can compare your excellence to my meagerness. Then maybe you'll see how great your work truly is.) *slinks away* Lloyd Dennis Zacarias replies: "Thanks and I have seen your work and believe me there is no meagerness to it that I can see. You are a wonderful artist." | |

| 12 Aug 2007 | Jason Jsun Dement | Loading...I think it kicks ass Lloyd. I tell ya though, I'd really like to see this character with a lute in his hands. I think he'd make a helluva bard! Lloyd Dennis Zacarias replies: "Funny you should mention the lute as i'm currently working on a pic of a bard who happens to play a lute. Thanks again Jason." | |
| 24 Apr 2008 | Nathan Cel Medwin | Loading...I have to say again how I love your style! Your drawings and pencil-work are astounding! Lloyd Dennis Zacarias replies: "Thanks, I never really thought that I had my own style until I came here to Elfwood." | |
