Lloyd Dennis Zacarias replies: "Hi Sofia, sorry it took so long for me to answer your comment but thank you. I've been trying to improve my shading and its great when its noticed."

I would like to see the bow with a string though, but that's a minor thing that only I would notice. (lol I'm the one who notices that the dead guy in the movies blinks.) Lloyd Dennis Zacarias replies: "Thank you for the lovely comment! I agree about the bowstring and believe me I would liked to have drawn it in but my client specificly described that there must be no bowstring. Either way I think maybe later i'll put one in."

| 21 Mar 2007 | One.second | Loading...Wow, every elven feature is perfect, this is how an elf should look like, clearly not human although you dont see his ears, clearly male though having an "elegantly" chiselled face... Thank you... Lloyd Dennis Zacarias replies: "You are very welcome. It seems we have the same opinion when it comes to elves. I also believe that the appearance of elves should be similar but completely separate from fairies." | |
| 28 Mar 2007 | Elizabeth F. Aycock | Loading...Oh boy. What a gorgeous piece of work. I am forever in awe of your detail. The stringless bow works with the feel that the character is not hunting at present. I am enamoured of your portrayal of elves, very close to the Tolkein image i have in my head. Liz Lloyd Dennis Zacarias replies: "Thank you Liz, i've always subscribed to the image of elves being what tolkein described. Its something that stuck with me since the age of 12 and its wonderful to meet others that share the same view. The stringless bow by the way was intentional. Its suppose to be a magical bow sorta like the one from the cartoon series of Dungeons and Dragons." | |
| 24 Apr 2007 | Jenny Schreiber | Loading...Beautiful! Really great job! I like that your elf looks like an ELF and not like some pretty boy with long ears lol. The background is amazing I bet that was very hard work Lloyd Dennis Zacarias replies: "Thank you for liking my elves. I've always envisioned elves as having unique features kind of a mix between a fairy and a human (am I making any sense?) anyways thanks and that background did take some really hand cramping work." | |
| 22 Mar 2008 | Cap’n AJ | Loading...omg...it’s LEGOLAS!!! Lloyd Dennis Zacarias replies: "Thanks, funny thing is that when I started this I wasn’t planning to have him topless." | |
| 8 Jan 2009 | Alexandra Busch | Loading...haha, i’ve always been a fan of supes and fairy tales. this kinda works for me i won’t lie i think it would be funny to take him home with me but i’m not that kinda girl. Lloyd Dennis Zacarias replies: "lol! That’s the first time any of my drawings have gotten this kind of reaction. Thanks." | |
| 29 Sep 2010 | Seth Devan | Loading...Everything is so... perfect! Great stance, beautiful anatomy, great background. Everything captures your attention and keeps your eye. I Love it. Lloyd Dennis Zacarias replies: "I’m glad you liked this one, it took me so much time to finish this one." | |
| 12 Jan 2011 | Ellion Orindale | Loading...Oh wow. Just wow. Where to start... alright, i love the design for the bow, i like how you actually did threadwork on the straps for the quivers(something i rarely do XD), and the BG is amazing. another thing i’m terrible at lol. and, the anatomy is absolutely perfect, this guy is beautiful.
