| 28 Dec 2001 | Hoa M’ Šąo | Loading...Woops, I just read all the previous comments and all the words got taken out of my mouth. Grr! Anyways, yea, the designs on her top are really attractive. I also would like to see this coloured. I know how you feel about colouring, after all, my picture's next to the word 'lazy' in the dictionary and colouring always get smudged and loose the details. For some reason, I see the top is an olive green in colour. Wonder why? Proabbly because I see too many of them! Well, everything looks three dimensional except for her skirt. No offense, just what I see and constructive criticism. Patrick R Derksen replies: "I appreciate your comments very much. I have the same reservations about colouring as you do; they always make it worse. I want to start colouring some day, but I've been saying that for a long while. And I agree that the skirt does look a little flat. Thanks very much!" | |

| 23 Mar 2002 | Mike Burley | Loading...Pretty lady ~ nice pose ~ good proportions ~ everything from her hair to her hips is well executed ~ the "shading" (I hate that word!!) IS good but needs more time on it ~ the setting lets her down badly ~ you are capable of better...... I'm not trying to flame you....... LOL Being a trainee teacher you will understand the benefits of CONSTRUCTIVE criticism :^) Patrick R Derksen replies: "Oh yes, the background DOES leave much to be desired, I agree. That's pure laziness on my part. For this drawing, that's just the way it is." | |
| 15 Jun 2003 | Becky | Loading...That is a beautiful picture...Beautiful! I love the additude in her face and all..It looks so real...there is nothing i would change...i love it Patrick R Derksen replies: "Thanks so much! I gave this one to my friend, so I can't change it anyhow." | |
| 3 Jul 2003 | Lori E. White | Loading...This is a gorgeous picture! You really got a nice seductive thing going on here! ^_^ Patrick R Derksen replies: " Well, well, thankyou very much. Seductive, eh? Somehow when I'm ajusting MY bikini top, my wife finds it disturbing. Oh well." | |
| 24 Aug 2005 | Blue Phoenix | Loading...She is really pretty!!. I also love the simplicity of the background. It keeps her as the focal point. Patrick R Derksen replies: "Well, there you go!" | |
| 23 May 2006 | Leonardo Da Vinchi | Loading...The picture really takes my breath away, but the skirt does seem a little flat. Maybe you should draw it as if it was a towel, wrapped around her waist with a little flap point were the towel ends. And maybe put a few seagulls in the background and a few sea shells on the shore. Patrick R Derksen replies: "Wow! I'm honored to be part of the famed "Da Vinchi" Code - let's see if I can decipher the TRUE meaning of the message...if I take every 3rd letter...and divide by 1/16th...and apply it to my cryptex... it says!!!..."please...try...harder..."" | |
