Tag As FavoriteComment		'Serenity is not freedom from the storm, but peace amid the daisies and the heather' A young unicorn lies in the sun soaked grass enjoying the antics of the herd. Computer painted from scratch, I tried to make it deliberately sharp relief in the foreground and unfocussed and blurry in the backgroung while still maintaining the integrity of the anatomy. I used less vibrant colors for this one, as I hoped to make it less cartoon-ish as my other drawings. i enjoyed the effect of the experience, though i am still an addict to bright colors.

Wow, this is so pretty. I agree with the first guy, this piece has a very dream like quality. Good use of the limited color scheme too, makes it seem so peaceful. Nice work.

It doesn't look cartoony at all, more dreamlike! the whole picture has a very soft, translucent quality, and it's very pretty! The perspective seems to be off, the herd is dancing in the sky! Since this actually adds to the dream-element of your drawing, it doesn't matter. It helps the picture to be surreal, a depiction of a better world.
