Just a Griffon I drew in 8th grade. The shading needs work, but I'm afraid to do much more with it lest I ruin the drawing. It took me quite awhile to get this one done. I'm fairly pleased with it though. ^_^ Quick note: My inspiration for this guy came from Mythical Beasts, from the Time Life Enchanted World book collection. :)

Could be tinted a tad darker. But it's good stuff. ^_^ The rear end of his body could be larger, though.

supreme, couldn't quite see it at first tho, wonder if i could ride it tho 12 I once got a potion that turns you into a griffin ya know?

:-) Joan Desiree Johnson replies: "Well, you could TRY to ride him, though I'm quite certain he's more likely to rip your skin off than let you have a ride. 1"

Very well done and detailed. I think you would not ruin it by shading it, maybe if you used colouringpencils instead? I think the result would be good.

*GASP* A Griffon!!!! I want it!! MOMMY BUY IT FOR ME!!!! >SMACK< Okay.. I'm better now.

I used to have a character in AD&D that flew upon a griffon. Belonged to a unit of griffon riders too *_*

:-) Joan Desiree Johnson replies: "*smacks* This is what I get for letting other HammerFall Tavern patrons know about my Elfwood gallery...10"

print it off and put in the shading, then a least you'll still have the origonal, I suggest enning it in and colouring it, this could be really good if you got up the courage to give it work, the front half of the griffin is superb.

*Is speechless, which is strange, because she usually always has something to say*

Those are awesome books- i am working my way through them as we speak very cool pic, but i think it needs shading- maybe if you printed it out off of the computer and tested shading with that first.

:-) Joan Desiree Johnson replies: "I've actually considered going back over some of my older art and fiddling with shade and/or color."
