I love this idea and I love the feel you gave to it by using ink wash! Nice work! To me, ink that isn't in a pen is just as hard as watercolor. I'm very very impressed! The unicorns ended up on a marsh plane because I really didn't know where to put them, and I wanted to try and do some water ripples + reflections. That, and I wanted unicorns. Good reason, no?
