One of a few fairies that i am trying to get done to show at the Nashville Renaissance Fair (as a sidenote i seriously doubt i'll finish them on time). This one isn't quite done but i really like her a lot. I made my fiance pose with a blanket just so i could get the fabric right. I don't think he's quite as pretty as she is though ;) Update: I finished her! I think she's done now. =)

I love the fabric.. I always have a problem drawing fabric. Her wings are interesting as well. They look almost like stone.

:-) Desiree Alana Sutherland replies: "I'm glad you like them...i find that i can't draw fabric realistically without a model...i have to set some fabric up in the pose that i need and then draw it - that's the only way i accomplish it. Interesting take on the wings...they do sort of look like stone, maybe she's a gargoyle fairy!"

You have a great picture here! I love the design, the girl, the girls face, and the folds in the cloth. Everything works out perfectly.
Good job! Keep it up.
