Ever since I can remember, I have been talented at art, though really, I just continued drawing when most of my peers stopped. During high school, I took classes at the Art Institute of Chicago and learned about 'realistic' and abstract art, although I didn't do much of the latter.  Most of my fantasy drawings are inspired from Tolkien's books, but sometimes I draw from other literary sources, especially mythology. A lot of my Tolkien inspiration comes from WETA Workshop's take on Middle-earth, but I try not to copy them. A good portion of it comes also from the Games Workshop Warhammer universes. I am now majoring in Illustration at the Rhode Island School of Design and hope to work on movie and/or video game concept art and possibly, in the future, art direction.  I have not posted on this site for a few years, so check my DeviantART page for more recent work.
