| 22 Feb 2009 | John R Farley Jr | Loading...Welcome to Elfwood. Bienvenidos.
The first thing I would do is get some books on drawing the human form. There is no shortcut but practicing as much as you can.
Get the book, Human Anatomy Made Amazingly Easy, by Christopher Hart. It should be at your local bookstore. Learn to draw realistically then also work on drawing cartoons, there is an art and method to that too. But books on cartooning and how to draw characters and design your own are also available at book stores.
Practice much, practice often, but have fun learning. Epifanio R Roque replies: "ty"
| 22 Feb 2009 | Scot A Harvest | Loading...I agree with JOHN R FARLEY JR about the practice... practice... practice... part.
But I disagree with the need of "BOOKS", first you just need to draw... anything that intrests you. Maybe out of a magazine or something you see and like in your daily life. Maybe go o to the bus station and start drawing people.
But most of all you have to "LOVE THE PRACTICE PART"!
Enjoy just sitting down someplace and sketching just for the fun. If you dont like he practice you will probably never get as good as you want to. Epifanio R Roque replies: "thankyou for the ideas."
