A woman holding a bow. Obviously, she is not anatomically suited to firing weapons such as this, but what the hell.

she (?) is incredibly skinny, and she looks like she's trying to be marilyn monroe. there's no way she could get enough power to pull back the bowstring in that pose, much less hit anything. you need to work on your profiles. it's actually pretty good, even if she does look slightly androgynous, anorexic, and not, as you say, anatomically suited to such things. the clothing is nice.

morgan - why is there no-e-mail link? - how does she look as if she's emulating Marilyn Monroe? Skinny is fine, this is fantasy female artwork, they all are skinny, long-legged and ludicrously well-endowed. The anatomical incorrectness is her breasts, not her bone/muscle structure. And she would be able to fire the bow. Haven't you see those old mongolian bows? compact design, like that in the picture, and you barely have to pull the string back to get full draw. I admit - I hate faces, but the profile does look slightly feminine. Give me credit, and next time put down your e-mail.

Me again - i don't agree with morgan's posturing crap - there is no resemblance to marilyn monroe - but there is the question of why she has twisted her body rightwards when she is firing to the left of the screen? Also stomach muscles!!!!!! - the arm and leg muscles are pretty screwed as well - but don't be so hard on yourself on the face - better than some i've seen in this place

hope this didn't sound as patronising as morgan - mind you i am a mate

I forgot in my rambel .. The arrow is on the wrong side of bow ..Fantasy or not it cant be shot this way...Has to do with archery phisics, mechanics .And stuff like string twist and string rolling of fingers

Boy some people ... There is some muscle ????S anatomicaly noes not come in to play in archery most people dont even know what muscles they use to shoot a bow ...The pose is fine it is not hard to shoot in this position ive done it with scoreing shots at 3-d target shoots it only takes cordination. I have a recurve only 48 in long but it only takes 45 pounds to pull it full draw ...Let me get started and ill shut up ...Like i say ...Some people should think or learn (in some cases) before they comment love this art.

Well, I like the idea of the picture, but the anatomy and proportions are way off. You seem to make big, bold lines where the muscles are, and sometimes where they're not. The big line on her right thigh shouldn't be there, and the same with the lines on her forearms. Muscles aren't quite that defined. By the way, its not that she lOOks like monroe, its the pose - The legs in that position, and the skirt flowing up.
