Jul 30, 2007. Done with black ink and acrylic paints on parchment. The full scroll blank, shown in the inset, is 8.5x11 inches.

The blue and white combatant is a Companion of the Kraken, sworn to defend the shore of fair Atlantia, a medieval kingdom which exists in a reality which intersects our own modern world, from the fighters of the East. The hero lives in our modern world, but when war encroaches on Atlantia, he steps through the curtain dividing realities and assumes his role as a fearsome fighter.

I love the colours! And I like how it doesnt look like one of those dark and bloody battles you see around Elfwood.
