UPDATE!
Here's the promised update to the original Spider-Man image. This is my first real attempt at coloring an image with Photoshop (Elements), and I'm pretty well pleased with it. As I get more familiar with the software, I'm sure I'll get better, but I don't think this looks too bad.

WOEHOE! first comment! *does another dance*
It's Spidy! Seen the movie yet? 'guess you have. It RULED right? Of course my choise of comics, posters and art forces me to say X-men the movie was better, but Spiderman actually was a 'lil....
*DON'T SAY IT!!!*
'HELP!'

:-) Dale Gravatt, Jr. replies: "Yes, I've seen the movie. It's part of what inspired me to return to drawing after about a 10 year dry spell. I thought it was pretty good (definitely worth the ticket and the price of the DVD when it comes out). It was faithful to the original Marvel story line (for the most part), and most of the special effects were top quality (some of the computer animation was a little weak in my opinion - for what it's worth). I look forward to a sequel (if they decide to make it)."

For someone that can take fourteen consecutive socks to the face (Spiderman 2 n.n')by giant metallic arms, he sure lacks muscle. You should get rid of the copyright, Marvel owns Spiderman, not you. I'd be more appreciative of this picture if I hadn't seen it somewhere before, everything besides the lack of muscle and potatore-ish head looks fine.

Spiderman is the best hero in the Marvel comics, that and my also favorite is Dare Devil. I just got my very first spiderman comics. I got about four of them in the same day. I have not read any, but I plan to some time this week. Keep up the fantasic work. And don't worry about the program, I think your great already. Love it, bye.
