Diane (Grandamelf) Reed is a retired grandmother who likes to paint!......What can I say, I never outgrew that love of fantasy I had as a child!
Since I joined Elfwood, I have found new inspiration! It is a delight to wake up in the morning and visit the galleries of all these wonderfull new artists!
u have some cute pics here one suggestion, you might wanna consider scanning some lineart and coloring it in sometime, cause you are good at coloring and i like your bright colors, but some of the pics are a little hard to make out details. just a suggestion tho Diane (Grandamelf) Reed replies: "I may give it a try, although I mostly paint. Thanks for the suggestion!"
I like your art. for hannah’s comment on the "lack of detail"...well, I always loved Monet, personally. and though its not Monet, its very reminesque of his style. It was a pleasure flipping thru and viewing your pieces, and I’d love to see more Diane (Grandamelf) Reed replies: "Oh Thank you!"
Wow you’ve got such a vibrant gallery here! Diane (Grandamelf) Reed replies: "Hmm, yes you could say that, I love color, and painting, I have been drawing for my kids for a long time and so I use a lot of color.
Do you think I should tone it down a little?"
wow, those colors throw me off my feet! *get’s up* now I have to look closer !! hehe Diane (Grandamelf) Reed replies: "Is that good or bad?"
