| 24 Jun 2009 | Dustin lee mann | Loading...thank you for the comment my dear ill be waiting till your art is up Anna Liliya replies: "well, I shall try my best then. I’m not really sure how I’ll accomplish it though, since I still have to ’find’ a digital scanner to upload most of everything properly--and...well, I still have to get over my own shyness~
but thanks! and I look forward to watching your own portfolio grow."

out of curiousity, what brought you to my page? (I’m curious to know, especially since I haven’t had a chance to put up any work yet)
the username is an inside joke with one of my friends. She had a HS friend who characterized her as a dryad but apparently she thought I was more of one than she was. A while ago she started calling me this--but refuses to translate it fully ...in the best of friendliest ways, I assure you--*haha*. Due to the personal nature of the ’joke’, I’ve let it stay that way. It’s more endearing not really knowing what it means--but I did ask her to write it down since I thought it had a nice ring to it.
maybe if I ever ask what it means, I’ll pass it along but for now? I enjoy the mystery."

I was looking at the list of people logged on and had nothing at the moment to do. I felt Jesus hint that I was to welcome a newcomer and so I looked for a name I’d not seen before. I spotted your pretty smiley and clicked on yah! I saw you were new and figured you were who Jesus meant! By the way, I like your smiley! It’s a boat with a sail on the ocean isn’t it? Fine with me! I was just curious, and I kind of thought it was speaking of the ‘tree people’ or dryads! Anna Liliya replies: "well, thanks for compliment on the icon. it is a boat it’s cool that you can make the background on yours change.
I believe the phrase refers to a description of the dryad--like adjectives, as opposed to a peoples. but it is referring to dryads. I’m partial to trees; could hardly get me out of them growing up! that’s why my friend said the nickname fit me better than her (she’s a water person).
thanks again for the message. not sure if there’s really anything I can do though for why you messaged me....."

Isn’t tree climbing fun!!! So few do it anymore!
Oh, you don’t need to do anything! I felt I was supposed to say ‘hi’ and I’ve done that! Jesus has His reasons for my being here! The only thing left to say that I usually say to newcomers is, “You are welcome at my Meadow anytime! All are welcome!”

Dryade means creature of the woods or a mermaid in some cultures. And as far as I know (and I could be mistaken) geschlottert means graveled. Anna Liliya replies: "ahhh, "little"--that makes sense, knowing my friend and I. she usually precedes her endearment with "meine" (sp? I think...), but when writing it down for me, put "die"-since she figured I’d use in this sort of way, and saying "my" would be confusing.
as for "graveled"--that just doesn’t really makes sense as an endearment....so, no offense, but I’m going to guess it means something else.
but thanks for all the help! you’re sweet to offer your thoughts--I’ll probably leave it as a mystery for now, though.
oh, and thanks for the welcome, as well everyone’s so friendly!!"
