When I want to draw a dragon I find pictures of lizards,crocs and the likings, and then try to mimic thier texture and add some of thier features to the dragon. when I want to make fur on a creature I google for bears lions and other furry creatures (depending on what kind of fur I want to make) and so on. thats the best advice I can give anyone, hope its usefull .
