From where have you come?
Out of the blue itself
Bringing breeze and spirit of springtime
Creature of awe my eyes have never seen
You give life and happiness
Waking the dormant from their winter sleep
Can among that life of yours dwell a lonely longing soul?
In an endless search for a lost one and only
How strange then that despite our differences
Your heart has a reflection - in me

This illustration, which accompanies A Phoenix and a Gentleman, is all created in vector, using CorelDraw X3.

Nice pic! Lighting seems to be a bit unaccurate but the colours are very sober!

:-) Huang Fu, a.k.a. DigiFuMaster replies: "Thankyou for your comment. Yes, I concentrated on the cold vs warm look & not lighting accuracy. Also, you probably noticed, considering the sun glow, the moonlight on objects is much stronger than in real life."

*punches first comment kiddy in the teeth* get over it.

Very nice surreal scene, find the art style very unique.

I really love the feel of this one, even tho it isn't immensely big, it does feel like that. If you know what I mean.

:-) Huang Fu, a.k.a. DigiFuMaster replies: "I'm so glad you feel that way - it's what I intended! The vector version I worked with is made for a poster, where you can see details of the lady's face as described above."

Cool. Is it a Japanese/Asian dragon? It sure looks like one.

:-) Huang Fu, a.k.a. DigiFuMaster replies: "Thank you so much! Yes, it's a Chinese dragon (which has 1 more finger on each hand than a Japanese one, I believe). BTW, this illustration's linked to A Phoenix and a Gentleman, just up."
