"Wire Angel" by E. Torrens

A sort of wire doodle. I had to stick it in the scanner because I don't have a camera.

My sisters, brother and I used to make people out of pipe-cleaners and play with them in the gardens. They all had names and very distinct personalities and we made nests for them in the trees. They had banquets and parties and the occasional mass murder. My pipe-cleaner man was called Cornelius and he made pipes for the mice that lived next door. He married Tiger's pipe-cleaner woman Constance but I fell out with Tiger and she made Constance murder Cornelius. Constance got arrested and crucified on the front door of the house. Tiger's new woman (Benedicta) raised Cornelius from the dead to say sorry for having him murdered but he was never the same. I eventually got a bit scared of Cornelius... god we were weird children! No wonder my parents started forcing us to go out and make friends with the normal people!

This angel is a more sophisticated version of the old pipe-cleaner men.
