 Siren of the sea, a beautiful seductress of the water who appears to lead sailors to the death.

I wanted to do an unstereotypical mermaid, something a little more commercially viable than a tailed women, so I added her unatural quality more subtly by making her part coral.

Oh! I thought they were blood vessels of an abnormal vasculature at first. OK, I’ve been working as a cytotech too long, it appears to have given me a paradigm shift.
