| 22 Jun 2006 | Bernadette J. Peterschmidt | *first comment chair spin* WWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEE that was fun. My only question is where are parts 1 & 2? I will gladely read and comment on them when you put them up but I don't really like starting a story in the middle. Any ways welcome the the woods...again I'm glade that a lot of younger writers are joining. For a long time I though I was all alone...but than again you are older than me but what ever. Well I hope that you have fun...drop me a line when one and two are up. *spins off into the distance* Dan R. Morgan replies: "Parts 1 and 2 were screened by the moderator because I had forgotten to remove/change one of the forbidden words from the text. Looks like it'll be another month or so before that little detail can be changed..." | |
| 5 Jul 2006 | Patricia M. D´Angelo | Welcome to the woods. It looks like you're pretty new to the place. Leave plenty of comments, as it creates an easy link back to your page for a return visit. Now, excuse please, while I'm off to read one of your stories. | |
| 13 Jul 2006 | Shijun Du | Welcome to the woods, if you're new. Though by now... you're probably not. Doesn't really matter. Welcome all the same. | |
| 1 Aug 2006 | Brendon Adam Shapiro | Hey Dan, I saw on Louise's page that you are a soundtrack music fan! Me too - I can't get enough of the stuff! Which composers are your favorite? Right now, my favorites are Thomas Newman, James Horner, Danny Elfman, and there's no way around it, John Williams. I guess I'll check out some of your stuff while I'm here! Dan R. Morgan replies: "I'm ashamed to say that I often don't look at the composer's name. Although, I do know I like john williams and hans zimmer." | |
| 20 Aug 2006 | Brendon Adam Shapiro | Woah, you have lots of updates! And I still haven't read them. Really sorry man, I can't believe it's taking me this long. You know how it is though... packing for college and stuff. I promise I'll get to it soon! Dan R. Morgan replies: "No worries." | |
| 9 Jan 2007 | Brendon Adam Shapiro | Well I'm finally here to actually read some of your stuff! I think I'll take a look at Oblivion... | |
| 6 Mar 2007 | Tim | Hi I like the start of Oblivion. Can you send the rest to me? | |
| 14 Jul 2008 | Jess L Rhapsodos | Wooh! A Hans Zimmer fan! You absolutely have to love him with his Pirates of the Caribbean music.
I read all the chapters of Oblivion and got really hooked. The prologue was amazing. Is there going to be more? I asked that already on one of your chapters, but just asking again anyway.
Thanks for checking out my page, too. Its how I even found you. Dan R. Morgan replies: "I actually JUST changed everything in my neck of the woods here. I’m sorry you went through all the trouble of reading the four chapters cuz I just took them all down. The prologue is pretty much the same, i think (it’s been a while since I’ve been on here and i don’t know which version was up), but it might be worth a read again.
I just finished the first draft of the new chapter one so that should be posted by the end of the week if the moderator’s work as fast as they did with my last ticket.
But thanks for reading the stuff. I’ll pop over to finish reading your stuff when I can grab a second."
| 16 Jul 2008 | Jess L Rhapsodos | Thank you for reading it, and another thank you for favoriting me. There was an error when I tried to reply to your comment.
And yes, in depth critique is always appreciated, but feel free to do it whenever. I’m in no hurry. You might want to wait for a while before reading it again, because I am reuploading all the chapters. A lot has been changed to the point that character names have changed.
Still, thank you a lot for reading it. The critique was really helpful. Dan R. Morgan replies: "Alright then, I’ll hold off on reading the other chapters. Let me know when they’re up."
| 20 Jul 2008 | Chris A. Jackson | Hey! Thanks for the tag!
Wow, writing and college at the same time? That’s tough. You taking journalism or creative writing? Dan R. Morgan replies: "English Studies major with a creative writing minor."
