One thing - do you use a tablet? If so, is it easy to work with, it’s just i want to improve my art, and most of the best artists here that i have seen have used a tablet for their digital pieces. i was wondering if you do the same.

:-) David Mulnix replies: "Trust me when I say that you can truely do anything you set your mind to. Look for opportunities for classes or workshops, and most importantly keep practicing! It wont come overnight but if you are dedicated you will get to where you want to be."

Thanks to everyone for their kind words. Yes I use a wacom Intuos 3 tablet. For doing digital work some form of wacom tablet is a must. You could paint with a mouse but it will take you 100x longer to get the same amount of work done as it would if you had just used a tablet. Plus the tablet can pick up nuances that a mouse can’t, because a mouse is an on/off device when you press the button to paint. The pen on a tablet has a range of values that it paint when you press down on it. So the harder you press, the more paint that comes out of the tool within the digital program. With the mouse you click the mouse button and its going to only be able to paint at the same level of pressure every time.
