Awesome line art! May I ask what brush you used in photoshop to get it so smooth? Every time I do outlining using a computer program It looks like I was shaking while drawing it b/c it comes out jaggedy! I have both Photoshop 5 and Painter and cannot do smooth lineart in either.
This is very impressive!
Congrats on Mods Choice!

:-) David House replies: "oh oh i know this one... i use a lot of custom brushes mostly variants of pencil-thin in ps6 and work w/ tiffs at 600dpi. i apply gaussian blur no higher than .03 after i'm happy and then reduce the image size (usually to 300 dpi). saving each step keeps me sane and i use layers when i'm not sure about a texture or detail. hope that helps, good luck & thanks a lot."

Very cool line art. He reminds me of the Ware-Preist on Lodoss Wars, because they both are dwarves with axes. Nice work, and congrats on mod's choice.

:-) David House replies: "lodoss rocks!!"

This is great. I love to see the finished pieces here. All of the preliminary sketches look like they are going to be just as fantastic when they are finished. I'm looking forward to seeing them here.

:-) David House replies: "yeah i'm kind big on the prelim stuff... but i'm trying to get some more finished pieces here..."

He looks fantastic! The line work and shading are awesome, and his pose looks very powerful. Excellent work, and congrats on Mod's Choice!

:-) David House replies: "just getting ready to kick some axe i guess... thanks"

Congrats on the Mod's Choice. Once again, you have a fantastic and unique eye for fantasy characters. A lot of the conventions of the dwarf, centaur, orc, etc., are there, but you manage to twist'em enough to give'em some of your own flavor. Can't get enough of your work.

He looks alot like what i think gimli from lord of the rings should have looked like

It’s a cool pic, but I don’t think you colored it too well. You gave him plate armor, while a Priest wears nothing but cloth.
