| 2 May 2002 | Kaitlin Rose Lyon | Your'e very creative. I usually can't think up any stories for my drawings. But oh well. You need a little work on shaping your characters and proportions. . A good thing to help you when drawing is before you draw the actual shape and every feature, draw shapes for each body part. A manequin helps too. You know, those wooden thingies you can get at Michael's? Well anyway, very nice. You should draw your characters in different poses, too. Keep working on it! | |
| 13 May 2002 | Allison M. Dominguez | Sorry about the blurred images. I'm working on getting a scanner...I think I'll get one for my half-birthday. My parents have been saying something about an awesome present that is for the computer. I really hope that's it. If not, I'll use the crappy scanner I just got from a client of mine. Anyways, I have a ticket waiting so that I can have a couple new things published. | |
| 18 May 2002 | Allison M. Dominguez | As soon as I buy my scanner, I'll be adding all of my new pictures. Please visit again sometime. ^_^ | |
| 21 Jul 2003 | Laura C. Harvey | Actually, you don't speak for all of us. Why don't you show us your art skills before you come back and be needlessly rude again? Doesn't even have the courage to post their name.
Anyway, the most recent picture there, 'Princess Solaria" is the best you've done so far. We all have to start somewhere, right?
My suggestion is to go outside and watch the people pass you by on the street. Note how they look, how they dress, body structure and build. Take pictures of people or parts of them; my brother poses his hands for me when I need him to. Also, go to your local book store and pick up a book on body study in the art section. Not anime, not cartooning, but sketches of real life; my 'bible' is a copy of "The Human Figure" by John H. Vanderpoel, only 6 dollars. I never leave home without that book. | |
| 30 Jul 2003 | Jessica Henry | WOW! I HAVE TO USE A DIGITAL CAMERA TOO! Here is some advice for taking better pictures. Tape the picture to the wall, and take it that way. The lighting is so much better, look at the art in my gallery, most of it looks like it was scanned. BTW, you have a lot of potential. Keep practicing, and you will get better. You have some good stuff here already! | |
| 2 Aug 2003 | Daniel Robinett | Just checkin up on my new neighbor. Nice pictures, especially princess Solara, very good-looking! | |
| 19 Jul 2004 | Allison <spidercat@hel...hel | You guys are all so right in what you said. I agree with everything you guys said. Check out my newer junk at spidercat.deviantart.com. I've grown up a lot in the past few years. I was really stupid and a horrible artist/photographer. Anyways, later. | |
| 27 Apr 2005 | Kaia | Nuuuu! Your not bad artist! Stoooopid Anonymous! *kills him/her* > You just need a little practise. I like your gallery! Kaia likes! *glomps you* | |
| 20 May 2006 | Hiyas | okay, for all the people who are dissing this art, YOU'RE all posers and you guys cant draw, so youre just ganging up on allison cuz she draws so good you really do draw well. | |
| 16 Jul 2006 | Allison M. Dominguez | Yeah...wow...my art was pretty horrible...but all those rude comments were entirely not necessary. Oh well...thank you to those who defended me. Those people were lame..I mean...when I started on here I was only 11...maybe 12 or 13...but the point is...I was young and not very developed as an artist. I have improved since then luckily and have a scanner...but do mostly digital art. Anyways...I'm 18 now....a lot has changed. New stuff is now pending...once my ticket is processed. | |
