Tag As FavoriteComment		This started as one of my first attempts to colorize a sketch digitally. So far I am most satisfied with these results of my digitally colored work. I also managed to incorperate Elidor's familiar, an Owl (which is the symbol on the coin in his hand, also) as well as the Moon in the background. This is something I've tried to do in the past and always fell short of my vision. This one feels real close to what I wanted to create. I'd love to hear your comments *hint*... :)

Umm, I think you use the airbrush tool too much. The pic doesn't have much definition. The owl I thought was one of the craters on the moon (big crater). The colour here is much beter than in the prev pic but the face needs more shading. BTW doesn't he have any eye whites? (Sorry I'm a bit nasty today 10)

Joruus C'boath. and it does look like him, right down to the evil expresion. though im pretty sure C'boath had nuthing to do with owls....

A bit...fuzzy. You should try to add a bit more deffinition. The owl should look...well...more like an owl.(!)

This image reminds me of a character in Timothy Zahn's Star Wars novel. His name is Joruus C'both.(I'm not sure if that spelling is right)

Funny you should say that. I get a strong feeling of "Obi Wan Kenobi" from this painting. The scene where he is walking down the canyon and pulls back his hood after the sand-people have attacked Luke. I wasn't really trying for a Star Wars feeling with this, though.

Wow! Thanks! I always thought the owl turned out cool, too. The biggest problem with the owl to me isn't that it is too fuzzy. It almost looks like a 3-D rendered object, and it isn't. I dunno how it come out looking so "modeled", but overall, I dig the owl. I also like the paterns in the folds of his robes. There are some nifty faces and demon like shapes in those folds, and I think it totally looks like he is walking toward a fire, like he is entering a camp...
