Coby and his kind live in constant wary of the world outside Burrington, which is the community "foxhole" in which they live. Surface trips outside of a selected few are made only by a select few. Often these people come back with stories of adventures and strange animals. Often enough they bring strange trinkets and items from there trips, some of which have found their way into Cody's room. Amazed by all this, nay, obsessed, Coby has long plotted how to sneak out with the adventurers, and is finally successful one night. After the cliche clashes with danger in such stories, the adventurers come upon him, and after some cheering up, he's free to sit on yon long and give yon peace sign.
