Uhm. Always thought half-dragon folk would be kinda ugly. I mean for god's sake they're half of a freaking LIZARD monster, with horns and claws and all sorts o' snakey eevil-lookin crap.
So! There comes he.

Hey, I resent the Lizard and evil comment! Not all dragons are evil or snake-like/reptilian!

*ahem* Anyway, I like the detail in the picture, especially the scales, it's a different look at half-dragons.
Great work.

:-) Kelli doyle replies: "Well, it depends on what kind of dragons yer thinking of. I'm thinkong og them mean-as-heck european dragons that ate folks and massacarred towns and had NO MANNERS."

Yay! Ugly half-dragon dude! I mean, magic-type dragons, I can see why they'd be pretty. But big, monster-type dragons? Nope.

It's funny, how people are attractive, and animals can be beautiful, but hybrids handled realistically would probably just look deformed... we can handle animal traits on animals, but the twisting of the human form is disturbing to us...

On another note, the linework and detail on this is primo. Nice.

:-) Kelli doyle replies: "*waves* Hai zackie! Well, yah. I think that's why I like manipulating the human form the way I do; it makes it grotesque. Long necks and legs and beeg feet. This guy was so much fun. and Thanks for dropping by!"

freakin lizard monster? many people beg to differ. Anyway, I think the dragon dude is kinda cute

:-) Kelli doyle replies: "Well, I am not very fond of dragons- they were just very specialized dinosaurs. All you dragon-folk think they're so WISE and INTELLIGENT. I think that's what they want you to think- cause then they're gonna eatcha when you reach up ta HUG 'em. Rawr. I think they're monsters."

Dragons are monsters. As far as I'm concerned, that is. They call the shots, and do as they please. Or they are angelic, bringers of good for the sake of kindness, beautiful, magical horse- like things, or whatever. But I sure do like this pic! I also appreciate the old- school notion that monsters can be horribly mean.

He'd be some fun to color...

:-) Kelli doyle replies: "I myself am gettign sick of these evil folks in white and the dark angel crap- everyone's liars and fakes now. I just want someone that looks mean and IS mean... Oh, and if you want, you can color him- as long as ya let me see!"

Wow, impressive! I like dragons, but I tend not to think of them as wise and intelligent...well, intelligent in their trade (Destruction!) And they make good sidekicks to badazzes, but yeah, still monsters! (Minus SOME of the magic dragons) I just think they are interesting.

On this half dragon dude, I like him, but he looks more annoyed, yet outwardly calm than mean. Maybe if he looked a little more angry. I was thinking if he arched his eyebrows a little more...maybe one solid color for eyes(That always scares me!)...and possibly an angry smirk? Don't mean to insult, so sorry if I came off as snobby or mean, just a thought...then again, this is better than anything I could ever do! *duct tapes mouth shut and hits self with bat*

PS- YES! MONSTERS ARE MEAN! Hello- orcs are monsters. And so are goblins. Fact of the matter is, the word is abused! Oh yeah, and if I didn't happen to sort of bug you when I was talking about how to make him look meaner, I might want to mess around with coloring him...

:-) Kelli doyle replies: "Oh- no problem at all about the comments! They make a lot of sense and are pointing out things I hadn't thought of! Honestly, too many people just say nice things for fear of people getting mad at them, and I don't like that- I want to hear how it really is! If no one tells me I suck, then I'll jut kee drawing! Of course if I suck, then I've just wasted $50,000 on art school, but hey!hee. I'd like to see more of your comments, they are very constructive!"

Interesting Pic.

Dragons were originally meant to be nearly gods. It doesn't matter if they're good or evil, most of the time they'd either eat people or step on them, because humans would be beneath their notice. The whole cutesy dragon thing makes me sick. Thank you for making a half dragon who would rip out your throat just because he could.

One thing...slanting the eyes and making them more reptilian would make him even more menacing.

:-) Kelli doyle replies: "Yar. Dragons. Beed things. Like effelents but wiff scales and- well, yeah. Godlike. And the eye thing. I do see that. I'd go back and fix it, but his face actually has so much white out on it if I makde another move on it it'd probably start to flake off. SO he'll stay as is. However. there is Photoshop."
