The best way I can explain it is that every group in all the word hold certain misconceptions about other groups. (in this case, Good and Evil, God and Satan, etc) Group A, for one reason or another thinks that Group B is... I dunno, stupid, because their ancestors/parents/friends say it is so. They never take the time to learn differently.
