[sends mert and the meercat over to party with her] N. E. Thrower replies: "Don’t congratulate me until we get the results...*worried*
*dances*
How are you, anyway?" | |
| 24 Jun 2008 | Liz Verde | Blargh, sick. Felt like crap yesterday but I had to go to work because I was opening and I had to run an inservice - ended up leaving an hour early - and then spent the next 18 hours sleeping on and off - I still feel absolutely revolting but at least the tylenol is working and my fever came down. My eye and head still hurt a lot though.
Well, I’m hoping that you’ll do great! I won’t say ’of course you’ll do great’ because I always know it annoys me when people say that to me when I’ve done exams. N. E. Thrower replies: "Drug yourself up on aspirin.
I hope so too. Mum said today that The Family will be really disapointed if I don’t. It’s not my fault they built me up into some kind of super brain, I just liked to read a lot..."
| 27 Jun 2008 | Liz Verde | I can COMPLETELY empathize with the familial pressure regarding grades! My parents were always expecting straight A’s on my school transcripts - my two older brother’s did great in everything in high school ... and then came me ... the one who is HORRIBLE at math! I think secretly, everyone is. My mom would go through my report’s when I got them and compare term to term which subjects I went down in from the previous term. And whenever I did get good grades that I was really proud of, it wasn’t such a big deal to them because that’s what they expected of me anyway. Though me making the Dean’s List these past two semesters at uni has gotten lots of praise. N. E. Thrower replies: "Oh, my mum never did that. It’s jut the whole family expect me to be the bright and intelligent one and so get straight A*s. My sister got all As apart from one C, I think." | |
| 1 Jul 2008 | Maria Isabel Reyna | ty and i passed my reading not math oh and i in summer s 1 more day left till i finish summer s! N. E. Thrower replies: "you finish your summer holiday so soon?" | |
| 7 Jul 2008 | Kim | Yo.
Um.
So.
Not dead, are we? Hows this going? Hmm?
Oh, whatever. *shoots a fireball into the ceiling, causing the building to collapse* N. E. Thrower replies: "Why must you cause mindless destruction wherever ou go? I thought you were dead, did you ever reply to my comment? I’m good thanks, got my GCSE results soon and my prom on friday and yeah...Life’s okay. Went to Scotland!"
| 9 Jul 2008 | Amanda Nikese | LOL I solemly swear never to say "with it" again. Interning is meh, it’s money tho.
Commentburgler stole your comment on my page. So in short JH is not dead, just evolved, into The Bandit Prince. N. E. Thrower replies: "I’ll hold you to that. Don’t you want to take it up when you’re older, then?
Oh. Oh. Gah, so behind..."
| 10 Jul 2008 | Liz Verde | Ah, I’m just glad that my family has taken the pressure off of me a bit since I went away to university ... well, at least it seems that way, I guess I wouldn’t really be able to tell unless I was doing poorly.
What have you been up to lately m’dear? Enjoying your summer? N. E. Thrower replies: "But you’re not. You’re doing amazingly well, and I’m so proud of you ^_^ Is your social life as good as your academic?
Parties, meals, talking. A lot. Yeah, I guess so ^_^ Got a little bit annoyed last night, but I reckon that was just being tired and hormones, as I came on today so. Yourself? How’s the job at the swimming pool? Now that you’re all managerial."
