"Inspiration" by M I Laidlaw

The July Art Challenge between a friend and myself.

I got my husband to take a photo of me in the pose that I wanted, and used that as the basis for the image. Final rendering looks nothing like me, btw.

My original idea was to have a more pained look on the face, like inspiration was lacking, but I then decided to have a happy look instead. Inspiration is pouring in. I was also going to have normal hair, with the ideas just sort of floating from the surrounding area, but it just... developed into this instead.

My hair technique needs work, and I'm going to experiment with some different brushes. I just used the basic paint brush for the whole image, and the smudge tool.
