Karolina is a former gardenworker who now tries to survive on her art only. She grew up in a deep forest and always cherished the nature around her, but loneliness also made her start to dream away from this world to other realms and fantasy art early became an important part of her life. To give up the artwork now would be unthinkable... =)
 
 
 
I have always drawn, ever since I could first hold a pen. Earlier it was mainly horses - like most little girls, I was totally fascinated by them, still are. Later on I became interested in humans, or the human shape at least. I rather prefer to draw creatures of myth and nature - elves, trolls, unicorns, griffons. Its fascinating to take parts from different beings we see around us in daily life and put them together in a shape that COULD be something we havent met yet... or have just briefly glimpsed, out of the corner of our eyes. I hope that I someday will be able to accomplish something that I can look back on, several years later, and say: Wow, I made that one so long ago, and I still cant find anything wrong on it... But hey, isnt that every artists dream? =) For now I think I would be happy just to be able to survive on my art. Just another of those dreams...
