An unusual traveller, carrying among other trinkets a portable faerie house (no that is not a lantern, it is a faerie house :) ), startled by dome noises in the bushes. I'm geting mixed opinions about his horns. How is better with or without ?

Yay, keep the horns. In fact make them bigger!

I agree with keeping the horn. I think you should add more detail to the meeting point of hair and horn though, because the hair does not seem to flow "around" the horn, but instead just lie under it.

You are undoubtedly one of the most talented artist in the woods.

I like the horns, thoug perhaps of a more slender form. They are wonderful either way, and truly bring out the character, I do very much like this picture, and you caught the movement excellently, it makes me feel like he has discovered that he is being followed (by I or any other person looking at the scene) absolutely fantastic.

There is a SFF series by Sarah Douglas that includes a type of people that have horns known as the Acar. As their wiseones progress down the paths of wisdom, their horns grow larger. This reminds me of those stories and this man might be one of their shamans. Very interesting and well done!

I like the horns, myself. Maybe if you based them on a deer instead of an elk, they might look a bit better. But it’s a cool idea.

The horns are fine, in my opinion. His expression is very good, as if you surprised him.

I love the horns. =) Although I think the picture would look good either way, so what matters is if -you- like them or not.

Horns in the woods can get tangled up in stuff... I would drop them. Maybe use them on a hat of some type for ceremonies and such.
