Dnd Archetypes: Dwarven Female. This is part of a character portrait set done for d20armory (hence the logo). Here is the dwarven female. Warrior. Somewhere in the north :). I like how the atmosphere turned out. No she does not have a beard and she is not ugly. For anyone demanding a beard on her let's just assume she is the shaving type :).

How dare you draw a dwarven female beardless!!! This shameful treatment of the dwarves has gone on for too long and I will not tolerate it. I demand a goatee, reminiscent of the rolling paper dude.

A wonderful picture. And if she's a DnD dwarf, she *shouldn't* have a beard, as per the Player's Handbook. Female dwarfs only have beards (as far as I know) in Middle Earth and Discworld (the original mythology just assumes they're all male...)

I really like this piece. I've never been one for dwarven women with beards either. It so great how she looks dwarven without being too masculine. Great job.

Your Dwarven Female is very beautiful, sturdy built as dwarvens are but never the less "a real stunner".

I cann'a under stand why every one thinks our women all have beards? Aye, some of them have been know to have long eyebrows, or thin braided sideburns. But I havan'a seen any with a beard.

ps: Looks a lot like a woman I dated way back when I lived in the Murple Mountains.

I love it! Well done!

The image I got was this female walking past someone who was staring and she stops turns and says:

"Yes... No beard.... Deal with it."

It's quite a relief to see a believable female dwarf WITHOUT a beard. The ones with beards always appear either hideous, like drag queens, or laughable, like drag queens. But this is nice. It's hard to get a beautiful dwarf, but you managed.

It looks WAY cooler than any bearded, hairy, ugly "Drarwesses".
Love Your work!

Oh my God I love her! No one makes dwarven women attractive and her face is just beautiful! Well done!
