I like how he still has certain beautiful aspects about him (torso, face). That would make the curse that much more a punishment, to be able to see his reflection in the water and see hints of what once was, instead of simply a total monster. Excellent job.

Despite the fact that he is a monster, I of all people would still be most likely to love and care for him (go figure, I care for any demon I come across..)...

I agree with the other commentor. The beautiful bits would be enough to drive anyone insane every time they saw themselves for they are what once was. I'd imagion over time though the thought that he was punished this way wouldn't be so troubleing as he would get used to it. It's either come to terms with it (mostly not completely because I don't think anyone could completely) or drive yourself into insanity but dwelling on something that's out of your hands.

As with all your other pieces, this one is phenominial. When's the story coming out because I would love to read it! Are you going to put the pictures inside the book? I know that that's not really done with adult stories but I think it'd be a nice touch considering you have such lovely pieces that show your characters.
