This ogre obviously was trying to steal something of great beauty and value (whether it was valuable to the good side or the bad is up to you) that was on top of the pole. of course, there was a booby trap, but poor, stupid scrag was unaware of this possibility until a chain was wrapped around his neck. his struggles to free himself caught the attention of the three dragon brothers, and the rest is history. great job on this pic.

I think the whoever did capture the ogre was very prim and didn;t like the way the ogre smelled and so he/she was all like "die fiend!!!!" and so, yea, the rest is kinda self explanitory, lol.

The ogre is drunk and thinks the totem pole just insulted him, so he's trying to choke it. THe dragon is watching in semi-amusement. THe reason the ogre has a chain coming off his neck isn't because he's tethered, it's because he's trying to be cool. He badly wants to be a cool punk ogre, like the other ogres his age, but alas, it just ain't happenin'. Or, that's my interpretation...O.O

seems to me, since the pole is decorated with three dragon heads, that its a religious sacrafice. The dragoind are like, gods, and the ogre, being a symbol of evil in the culture, is being destroyed. or the ogre is a slave for the dragon gods, w/e.

The dragon demanded a meaty sacrifice from the villagers.

The ogre ate too many villagers.

The villagers got to gether and decided to kill two birds with one stone.

my personal story is the ogre got introuble with his tribe or something and they decided his punishment would be to spend the rest of his days chained to the dragons’ totem pole. i see the drangons are like the hyenias from the loin king; one dumbfounded at everything, another with a small evil intent and the other the one with the large smile, the leader, the one with true unwavering evil intent on the ogres life and soul. ^_^ what do you think?
