Ohhh *stares* How much, how much?! I LOVE egyptian things and would love to add this to my little collection thingy. That and I am a freak for detail, so another reason why I love this. So well done!! *steals it and runs away after doing 1st comment wiggle*

Great attention to detail! Did you base it on one of the museum?It is a direct replica of the pendant Tutanhkamun's mummified body was wearing when they found him. I saw the photo in an antiquities book and decided to make it. It was so long ago now that I have no idea why I did that. Clearly I like setting myself difficult fiddly tasks. What a nutter.

Is Tutankamun the one that tried to turn egypt to monotheism (the worship of a single god) or his son who brought them back to polytheism (the worship of many gods)?

To whoever asked above: Tutankhamun was the nephew of Aten, the dude that tried to force one god upon Egypt. Tut was the one to bring all the old beliefs back as soon as he came to the throne. He was also the dude that 'mysteriously' died at the age of 17 or 18. And lastly his tomb discovered by Lord Carnarvon and Howard Carter was filled with untouched antiquities and relics from Tut's time and which helped a great deal in understanding the Egyptians, their ways and their beliefs.

Being a fan of Egyptian art and quite enticed by the whole story of king Tut I do have to praise your sculpture godliness because this looks amazingly identical to his necklace...far better than the crap they sell in overpriced souvenir shops that could have been done by an 8-year old in a day (sadly...with sweatshops and all, that is probably the case...)

Wow this is so cool you made it wow i am in love with Egypt stuff I've read a lot of books about it and this is just amazing it would be so cool to have one of those things i like the colors of it too i would love to know how you made it I'm glad your friend got too(even though i want one badly) good job
