I really like 'By the River' and 'Young Sorceress. Very nice indeed. If I ever get time to draw again I'll have to work on colour. Welcome to this side of the woods.

:-) Edmond Barrett replies: "Thanks a lot sending another block through today which will include one pencil drawing. "

Thanks for your comment. I took a look a your work, nice coloring and nice work you did on the hair of the lady.
If you want to have more bold lines, scan your picture in black and white only (or as text), that way it will flatten out the gray and make your pencil-lines look like ink.
Good luck!

:-) Edmond Barrett replies: "Still kind of figuring out how to use a scanner. Most of my scanning in the last few years has been of invoices. "

I've been reading your stories, and I just love being able to see pictures to go with them. It seems you have quite a talent for art as well.

:-) Edmond Barrett replies: "Thank you very much. Much more praise and I'll be in danger of getting my head stuck in the door. (ie get big headed) 2"

Hm, since I seem to have scattered my opinions all over your gallery, I thought I should sign your guestbook too. Overall, I like your gallery a lot. The women look strong and capable (and are wearing outfits they could actually fight/travel in; a pox on women in chainmail bikinis). I like especially the two Sarah Holl pictures and, if ever I find the time, I'll try to go read your stories too.

:-) Edmond Barrett replies: "Yes women in practical clothing. I can hear the mob approaching to burn me at the stake for heresy."

Wonderful work in here, Ed.
The oil paintings in particular are very impressive.

Keep up the excellent efforts!

:-) Edmond Barrett replies: "Glad you enjoyed and thanks for stopping by."

I demand chain mail bikinis! (just kidding) very nice stuff in here!

:-) Edmond Barrett replies: "Glad you enjoy. The bikini bad will be maintained; it is after all my unique selling point. 1"

Thanks alot. You have clear passion in your works.

You should draw a dragon-elf women wearing a chain-mail bikini! Heh, I like your art. It has a good style. I really like the "Sarah in the woods" and "young Sorceress"

Glad you liked what you see"

i like your spaceship design-they look very practical. there’s certainly a vacancy for spaceart on this site, so i’ll do my bit too. i particulary like your ship schematics, there’re clean and clear. i have a habit too of makng them for my own ships, though it’s unlikely i’ll put those up as i prefer making pictures. 1

:-) Edmond Barrett replies: "Glad you like them, spaceships are sadily a bit thin on the ground on elfwood. (too many elves) I prefer my spaceship to have a practical lowtech/hi tech look to them. "
18 Sep 2008:-) John R Farley Jr
Big and bulky is the way I like your ships. Your gallery has some nice spacecraft designs and it was a pleasure to look through them. I too am doing my part to put more ships and vehicles in Elfwood. 11

:-) Edmond Barrett replies: "Is it our solemn duty get high tech vehicles onto elfwood and beat back the hoards of girlie elves and chainmail bikinis.

Preferably with energy weapons! ;-)

Thanks for the comments"
