SciFi and Fantasy Art Almost-Evil Dragon by Emily ´Artemis´ Broyles

Well, this is one I did a few months back. I don't rememeber why I drew it now, just a sudden inspiration, I guess. Something about his wings just seems weird to me, but oh well...The thing that I like about him is that scar over his eye. Hee...I like that. Anyway, just the simple pencil on regular paper. You can see where it's smudged...I might fix that up sometime, or maybe I'll just pretend it's smoke from some village he just pillaged. But, as it's been pointed out, he's not too terribly evil looking. I never can do anything truly evil, it seems...He's more of a 'I'm going to eat your pets' rather then 'I'm going to eat your children.' Ah well.

Yep, I have to applaud you for knowing how to make the tail slash at an angle like that. I can see that he seems to be balancing on something (the earth duh). I know that when you draw this pic, you probably mainly concentrated on the dragon itself. Perhaps, now, since you have had a good start, you can begin to add background and other minor details. I'm sure you'll produce an outstanding drawing soon. Keep your good work up! Dragons! Whew! flies away astride a black dragon Emily 'Artemis' Broyles replies: "Thank you! I do try to keep in mind things like that when I draw, but usually they don't turn out so well as this. Hmmm, background, you know, I just might do that. ^__~"
25 Aug 2003	Christel L. Ries	Loading... Oh! You never showed me this one before! I really, really, really, really like it. I really like the tail for some reason. And, you know, the paint program works really good for getting rid of smudges if you wanted to. I use that all the time. It's really nice though... Emily 'Artemis' Broyles replies: "I didn't? Well, I thought I did. Ah well, I'm crazy, what else can you expect? ^____^ I'm glad you like it. Paint program...smacks forehead Duh. Why didn't I think of that before? Oh well. I'll probably go through and fix that when I get all these new drawings scanned."
