SciFi and Fantasy Art Shampoo in a Traditional Chinese Dress by Edward Cha

I finished this in 99.8.11; I thought that it would come out better than it did. The ink sketch looked very good (in my opinion); perhaps the colors I used were too bright. I like this piece anyway, because it is very different from my other CGs. The dress that Shampoo is wearing is a traditional Chinese dress; the more familiar 'qipao' ('cheongsam', 'China-dress') is actually Manchurian in origin, not Chinese. The qipao, Shampoo's usual outfit, was adopted by the Chinese during the Qing dynasty, in which the Manchurians ruled China.
