Well, I play a lot of console RPGs and read more fantasy and sci-fi than is strictly healthy. I watch little TV, mostly cartoons (and anime, of course), but most of my time I like to draw. I can't draw people very well, so I mostly stick to drawing animals, weapons, and such. I've been working on that, though, so feel free to shower me with praise when you do see people in here. At the moment I'm a student at a local college who's majoring in Computer Information Systems. I like to use the Random button to stroll through Elfwood every so often and in every gallery I visit, I leave a comment about at least one picture. Coincidentally, this usually makes the recipient feel obliged to visit my gallery and do likewise; it's all part of a grandiose and thoroughly nefarious machination to fish for compliments. }:)> Rest assured that I do indeed read every single comment anyone posts on my pages, and I try to respond to most of them. Of course, this usually means writing one-sided responses addressed to people who were just passing by and will never read my replies anywho, but such is life. Oh well, enjoy. And if you have something negative to say about my work, cram it; I'm only interested in hearing nice things that boost my ego and make me feel warm and fuzzy inside. Or at least useful constructive criticism and suggestions. Feel free to e-mail or IM me (although make sure the subject makes it clear what you want; I get a lot of spam and delete chainletters wholesale- you would too, between the mass mailings from off-color web sites, offers for every form of insurance known to man, and virus-loaded confirmation letters trying to convince me I've won contests I never entered in the first place...). I also hang out as 'Lourde Incarnadine' around the message boards at GameFAQs.com for whichever game I'm playing at the moment- but I regularly check out the ones pertaining to newer Castlevania games, stuff in the Megaman Battle Network series, and some of the boards for old favorites of mine. ~8/23/2003:I have been drawing lately, but most of it's been fanart or science fiction (so it wouldn't be allowed in this gallery). Got some new stuff coming, though; plus a possible first entry in the Wyvern's Library. If there's anyone actually here, be patient. And I'll get that new Cerebus at some point, though it's not honestly very high on my 'to-do' list.

Great work you have in your gallery. I can't stand drawing with a mouse either, or doing any artwork on the computer either. I just colored something in...and it took me 3 weeks. Said to myself, if I had painted it, I'd be done by now. LOL
Are you a tatoo artist? Your works have the fine line and tone of the design work I've seen in the city.

Thanks, I've got a couple in my notebook, but not all of them really fit in Elfwood (fan art and science-fiction stuff). However, I've had this idea for a story that's given me the itch to draw a few things- I've got a picture of a wind demon in the works right now; plus two Golems (actually there are three, but one of them might not be able to slip through the Mods), an ancient king, and I might even try to do something without any people in it- a landscape (or rather, skyscape...).
I've come to the conclusion that I CAN draw people pretty well... but there's a catch. My style seems to lend itself more to drawing old men than young ones; when you see this Wind Demon you'll probably see what I mean. I guess it's because an older face just has so much more personality and character. I think that's why in anime they usually have to fake character by throwing in an extraneous cheek-scar or bandage or something onto a young man... ~Edge"
