It is refreshing to see a more realistic impression of the Biblical Gabriel based on the ancient scriptures as a true, reptilian Seraph, rather than the nonsensical ’fluffy swan-winged, humanoid angel’ we see on Christmas cards. But in those same scriptures, it is not only Gabriel who will devour all the sinners on jugement day, but that he is in charge of the rest of the heavenly ’dragons’ that will assist. In later Christian lore, he becomes a fluffy angel, who will release the heavenly dragons on judgement day instead of the leader of them.

The only thing I don’t care much for is how much Gabriel’s head resembles a Geiger alien, and not a the more naturally reptilian-looking ’dragon’ head that we see in the ancient depictions. But still, a great job.
